Pet Scan Update

Even though I got these results last Friday, I didn't have a chance to officially update here, as I went back to work this week at school and started with students today.

My PET scan last week said "new focal uptake in the right T2 lamina suspicious for metastatic disease" which is really scary.

To double check, I have an MRI scheduled for next Thursday. That feels like an eternity. Thankfully, because it has been so busy and exhausting, this week has gone by quickly, so I'm hoping that the next week will go by quickly too and I'll know the results that same day. I'll update here again.
